Royal Splendor English Breakfast Tea

On June 2, 1953, more than two million people lined the streets of London to watch Queen Elizabeth II's coronation procession to and from Westminster Abbey. Almost 8,000 special guests arrived early in the morning to take their seats in the the Abbey. 20 million viewers watched the television broadcast in Great Britain, along with an audience of more than 277 million around the world. With an audience of this magnitude and reach, it comes as no surprise that the dress the young Queen wore to be crowned became one of the most recognizable dresses of the twentieth century.

In honor of this event, we offer you this delicious tea. English Breakfast is the most popular of blended black teas and the most common in English tea culture. The blend was invented to be a rich, hearty black tea which is complemented well by cream and sugar.
